potrait installation
i loved this project a lot it allowed both studios to come together and for us to explore new ways of drawing instead of the ones learned in class. at first my idea was to create panels that can be folded up to gather like an accordion, but then it evolved into a display board type deal out of laminate hard word flooring and metal brass colored hinges.

Metamorphosis: Heather and Jayson
this is my middle mix of both heather's and jayson's designs i kept the idea of the geometric shapes from jaysons and the tabs from heathers while incorporating the square shapes as in heathers box.
jayson's egg project
this is the more jayson design. i kept the geometric concepts and added a tab that could potentially hold a pencil but it would not be very stable.
i used post-it notes to create my design ideas. i drew both heathers and jaysons nox or egg project, drawing one or two views of interest. then i came up with inter mix ideas then created like a diagram or time line with the post-its on my desk to keep my ideas organized.
two views of heathers box i went with views that showed my interests or focuses
this was my more heather than jayson i wanted to keep the tabs that held the pencils but in a more abstract way that is taking away the job of holding the pencils, and also keeping the same box idea but allowing it to be more square. i also left the box open so that it would have the same effect as the middle mix sort of like an open book.

memory?
my memory was an elegant evening on a riverboat in savannah, ga. we set sail on the boat all dressed up, for a fancy dinner. the inside was quiet and serine, while outside all the beauty was happening. the view of the city and sunset was a site to behold. the propeller was loud but majestic in how it tossed the water about. much like my clutch, loud and beautiful on the outside but quiet and calm on the inside but still with a quiet elegance.
