i tried to focus on the abstract idea for the 2 by 4. so i thought about an elephant and what i could do with it. i talked with stoel and we came up with three good ideas for how elephants have systems. one was there herd how they form communities with each other. two how in cartoons elephants form a train with their trunks holding on to each others tails. three the fact that an elephants pad on its foot can feel the vibrations of the earth and can stomp the earth to let another elephant aware of his presence. my original design focused on the community aspect and how they form a train, but looking at my project i think the foot vibrations come out more. because you have 2 elephants and in between them coming from their feet are blocks that make a sound wave affect and appearance.
